Can I buy less raw wool than a whole fleece?

Is the raw wool skirted?
Yes. We do a traditional superfine fleece preparation removing the following sections (usually resulting in about 1.3kg of fleece):
- First Skirtings – heavy with sweat dags and uneven length
- Second Skirtings – less uniform in length
- Hind legs – stronger wool than main fleece
- Back – Weaker wool due to weathering
- Neck – Higher vegetable matter content and risk of matted wool
What are postage costs?
We use Australia Post as it is tracked and has flat rates for domestic parcels. Postage prices are set to what we can fit into each satchel as Australia Post prices (also available on their website):
