At Silver Cedar we raise healthy and productive livestock by adopting practices which put the health and wellbeing of our animals first. This enables us to deliver superior products including high quality raw and hand processed wool. We also take an innovative approach and are constantly on the lookout for new breeds to welcome into our fibre family and enhance what we can offer our clients. All products with 100% traceability to our farm have the Silver Label.
Alongside our own products we provide an ever increasing catalogue of wool types for the enjoyment of spinners, felters and fibre artists.

Why do we commit to these things?

As a 4th generation sheep farmer and wool classer I have been around sheep my whole life and rescuing poddy lambs by the age of two. I have a passion for beautiful wool and caring for the amazing animals that create it. With my wonderful partner we run Silver Cedar farm and know first hand the importance of finding a balance between farming and protecting the land. For us this includes holistic land management, no tillage, not over stocking, adding soil nutrients, planting drought resistant native shrubs and replacing fallen native trees.
